HP unveils new printers

Hewlett-Packard (HP) has unveiled a slew of services, hardware and other solutions for the imaging and printing needs of SMEs, eWeek reports.

The offerings include the Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One featuring built-in wireless Bluetooth for printing from select notebooks and smartphones, and a lithium-ion battery with enough juice to print up to 500 pages on a full charge.

HP’s Web-connected mono single-function laser printer, the LaserJet Pro 400 M401, and the company’s first Web-connected mono laser multifunction printer (MFP), the LaserJet Pro 400 MFP M425, feature a 3.5-inch touch-screen control panel for accessing applications and managing print functions, support for HP ePrint solutions with wireless direct capability, and support for Apple AirPrint and Google CloudPrint, which allow employees to print from their smartphones or tablets.

New mobile printing solutions include HP ePrint Software, which enables PC printing to HP ePrinters at home or at work, and to HP ePrint Public Print Locations (PPL) for workers on the go, according to Recharger magazine.

HP ePrint App for Apple and BlackBerry enhances and replaces the popular HP ePrint Home and Biz App.

The Universal Email Address for HP ePrint PPLs allow HP’s large PPL network to publish and promote a single e-mail address for mobile print jobs.

Any end user with an e-mail capable device can send a print job to the e-mail address and retrieve the print job at any of the PPLs.
