Pronto Post Inc., South Florida’s largest product fulfillment and direct mail company, recently added four color digital printing to the list of services it provides to its customers. This will allow clients to send fully personalized promotional or fulfillment packages to their customers, on demand, reducing both the client’s spending and potential spoilage and need for overstock.

Pronto Post has been offering black and white digital on-demand printing to its clients for many years, both in cut sheet and continuous roll formats. With this recent acquisition, Pronto is now able to offer high speed, high quality, variable data color printing at an affordable price.

This new service is available because of the addition of two Riso Colorcom 9500 Printers. These printers are capable of printing up to 13×19 inch duplex paper in a variety of weights as well as printing multiple sized envelopes, all in four color process.

“The new Riso printers allow us to offer a much wider range of services to our existing and potential direct mail and fulfillment customers,” Robin Rodriguez, President of Pronto Post, commented. “What was previously preprinted and sent to us to be addressed can now be printed and addressed in one pass saving our customers considerable money and spoilage,” said Rodriguez. “We can also now offer our fulfillment customers the ability to insert personalized color marketing material with every order they ship out of Pronto. This capability adds value to the fulfillment process that we offer our customers.”

Pronto’s General Manager Andrew Diamond adds, “Existing and potential customers have become more sophisticated and particular about what promotional mail they will read. The advantages of adding a personalized messages and color to the direct mail they receive have been proven to get better response rates than static, black and white material.”

Pronto Post’s new color printing capability also adds value to transaction mail such as statements and invoices. “An invoice is an opportunity to send a personalized message to an existing customer,” Diamond said. “A color discount coupon or a color promotional message selling another product utilizes previously empty space on a business’ statement or invoice. This is just another way to add value to a client’s existing mail.”
